Jamie Bernstein curated the benefit concert set for Sunday, September 21. The intimate event is unique mix of performing artists including WBGO "Singers Unlimited" co-host and legendary Manhattan Transfer singer Janis Siegel gathering to reinterpret and reimagine the music and words of legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.
Other performers at the event include David Amram, Edmar Castaneda, Fred Hirsh, Janis Ian and Pete Malinverni.
The concert benefits Artful Learning, the extraordinary teaching model founded by Jamie’s brother, Alexander Bernstein. Alexander passed away in August of this year at the age of 70.
