Composer Leonard Bernstein’s daughter, Jamie Bernstein, and Soulful Symphony founder, Darin Atwater, will headline an unforgettable evening filled with music and storytelling. From Symphony No. 1 Jeremiah in 1942 to Concerto for Orchestra in 1989; from ballet to opera to film scores; from On The Town to Westside Story, Leonard Bernstein is one of the most prolific and beloved composers of our time. Jamie will speak about her father’s legacy, her life and her new memoir, “Famous Father Girl: A Memoir of Growing Up Bernstein.”

From composing his own music to his talents as a pianist, conductor and music producer, Darin Atwater has appeared with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and founded the Soulful Symphony, an 85-member orchestra with mostly African American and Latino musicians. Mr. Atwater is an accomplished musician releasing his debut album this year.
