In her deeply intimate book, the author offers a rare look at her father, Leonard Bernstein, composer of On the Town and West Side Story and chief conductor of the New York Philharmonic. His family lived under the shadow of the country’s most renowned musician and in her moving and often hilarious memoir, his daughter invites us into her family’s private world.
